Our Tours

Our Tour Stops and Lines

We operate our Heritage Trams most weekends throughout the year and every day between Easter and early November.

The Promenade Tour service operates between Pleasure Beach and North Pier & Tower up to every 20 minutes from 10am to 5pm on most of our operating days but check our timetable for the day of your visit.

We also have 11 weekends in the year where we run a Gold Service of six or more trams which run between Pleasure Beach or Starr Gate and Fleetwood.

Our Trams and Services

Our Heritage Trams run most weekends throughout the year, daily during most UK school holidays and, of course, operate our famous Autumn Illumination Tours.

Many of our Heritage fleet of trams date from the 1930’s when a forward thinking man, Walter Luff, became General Manager of Blackpool Corporation Transport and revitalised the Blackpool tramway with new trams which continued to be the backbone of Blackpool Trams well into the 2000’s. And we are still benefitting from his foresight today.

The Blackpool Tramway now has a fleet of modern low-floor trams to quickly and efficiently transport thousands of people every day. However, the best of the iconic and original Heritage Trams, many of which are over 80 years old, have been retained and superbly restored, and these are available to offer you a traditional tram ride along Blackpool’s famous coastline.
