King’s Coronation Parade
Blackpool Transport has partnered with TBid and Visit Blackpool for the King’s Coronation Parade on Sunday 7th May 2023!
The parade will include 11 trams, 7 of which you can be a passenger on. Tickets will be available from Wednesday 5th April so you can be part of this historic occasion!
Parade route
Pleasure Beach –> Comedy Carpet –> Little Bispham –> North Pier –> Pleasure Beach
The parade will stop at the Comedy Carpet for a photo opportunity.
Passengers can disembark at Bispham, Cabin, North Pier or Pleasure Beach on the route back.

Times
Boarding will take place at 1345 at our Pleasure Beach stop.
The parade is scheduled to set off at 1415 from Pleasure Beach.
Coronation Specials
Once the parade has finished, we will have 4 trams operating our Coronation Specials. These mini tours will be operating between Pleasure Beach and North Pier and will run from 1530 – 1730.
3 additional stops will be added for these Coronation Specials only:
- North of South Pier
- Central Pier
- Manchester Square
Open Top Boats 600 and 227 will be included alongside Bolton 66 and Balloon 717.
Prices will be £4 for adults and £2 for children.
No booking is required for these mini tours, just turn up on the day and pay the conductor.
